rule of thumb per my elect. man is 12 outlets, on 14/2, per 15 amp circuit….dont mix lights and outlets if u can help it…..now this is for standard room, not for above avg. loads ( computers and such u should cut back 2 of the outlets allowed)….
You can have up to 10 outlets on a 15 amp circuit according to the National Code.
5 outlets,make sure that you use a 20 amp breaker and # 12 wire.
