I got a letter in the mail saying that I won a grant for 39,000 dollars. It said I was pulled randomly from a list and it came with a pretty legit check for 4, 970 dollars, 3,150 of which are needed to pay government taxes to get the grant in full. I haven’t been able to find any info on the internet from someone who has gone through with this completely.
I was wondering if I could cash the check and not pay those “fees” since apparently the grant is in my name LOL.
